Finding themselves down 19 points at the start of the second quarter, the Spurs came back to take the lead 83-81 but couldn’t hold on.
For the Grizz, Jonas Valanciunas (23 pts, 23 reb - not a typo), Dillon Brooks (24 pts, 7 reb), and Ja Morant (20 pts, 6 ast) led the way.
The result: The Grizzlies play the Warriors for the eighth and final Western Conference Playoff spot. Winner gets the Utah Jazz.
The 7-seed Lakers get the 2-seed Suns. Imagine being Phoenix, having one of the best seasons in franchise history, and being rewarded with LeBron in the first round...
