Good morning! My favorite college basketball player ever, JJ Reddick, joined ESPN as an NBA analyst. He starts November 3rd, and I’m pumped.
In today's Sprint:

🏈 Roger Goodell refuses to release any information from the investigation into the Washington Football Team’s workplace culture, which of course caused more speculation about what the investigation turned up.
Raiders owner Mark Davis says he’d like a written report released on the findings. Remember, his former head coach has been the only person indicated from the investigation so far.
Meanwhile, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he’s “very satisfied with how the league handled it.”
For context: The NFL released 243 pages on ‘Deflategate,’ 144 on Richie Incognito and ‘Bullygate,’ and 94 on Ray Rice. But will release 0 on the investigation into the WFT.
The MLB franchise, worth $1.16 billion, offered the roller derby team currently using that name across all social media just $10,000 for its exclusive rights.
The roller derby team declined and is now suing to prevent the name change.
The roller derby team started using the name back in 2014 and have been active since.
⚽️ Kylian Mbappe isn’t the only French superstar potentially leaving his club for free next summer.
Manchester United is prepared to lose Paul Pogba on a free next summer after the midfielder refused to sign a new contract with the club.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the Texans and Miami Dolphins - who have been dancing around this move for months - have a trade in place to send Deshaun Watson to Miami.
But there are two very significant catches:
Deshaun Watson has to settle his civil cases.
The NFL needs to provide clarity on any suspension.
Both would have to happen by November 2nd at 4 PM EST, the NFL’s trade deadline, for the deal to go through.
The current standoff: Deshaun Watson refuses to play for the Texans, meaning the NFL hasn’t needed to suspend him or put him on the commissioner’s exempt list. Instead, the NFL has simply done nothing. A trade to Miami would force the league’s hand.
Watson still has 22 cases outstanding against him in court.
The bottom line: The Dolphins (1-6) and Texans (1-6) are two of the worst teams in the NFL. To make matters worse for Houston, they have no first or second-round picks in 2022. They’re in desperate need to move Watson and receive picks, but the circumstances make that difficult.

MLB World Series
Houston Astros7vs. Atlanta Braves 2
The Astros scored early and often, including a four-run second inning, to keep the game out of reach.
Atlanta had nearly as many hits (7) as Houston (9), but a pair of errors from Atlanta and two stolen bases for the Astros made the difference.
