Sit back, relax, and get ready to watch five quarterbacks drafted in
tonight’s top 10 picks. After Trevor, BYU QB Zach Wilson became the likely
#2 pick with his ridiculous Pro Day
performance. But the third QB taken? Anyone's guess.
Keys to the Draft:
The San Francisco 49ers traded their next two first round picks and
a third rounder to trade up from #12 to #3. That’s a price you only
pay for a QB, and coach Kyle Shanahan likes
five of them.
At #4 overall, the Falcons have lots of options - take the QB of the
future, draft stud tight end Kyle Pitts or left tackle Penei Sewell,
or trade down. What they do will shape the rest of the first round.
With offensive needy teams at the top of the Draft, a defensive
player may not go in the first seven picks. If so, that’ll be the
first time in 40 years. Somebody will be very happy drafting corner
Patrick Surtain or linebacker Micah Parsons that late.
Draft rumors are like the Falcons with a lead,
hard to trust. But these rumors actually make sense:
The Patriots want to make moves. They're talking
with Jimmy Garoppolo, signaling a potential trade with the
49ers, and also willing to part with All-Pro corner Stephon Gilmore
to move into the top 10 if QB Justin Fields falls.
The Packers may finally draft a receiver to pair with Davante Adams.
Currently, they’re linked with Minnesota's Rashod Bateman. Aaron
Rodgers would be as happy as he is hosting Jeopardy.
The Falcons are receiving trade offers for superstar receiver Julio
Jones. For a team with major holes on defense, those draft picks
could accelerate the coming rebuild.

(12-12) Atlanta Braves 10 vs. (10-14) Chicago Cubs 0
Down 10 in the seventh inning, the Cubs put All-Star first baseman

vs. (9-10) New York Mets 0
Jacob deGrom has struck out 48% of his batters faced this year

On opposite trajectories, the Lakers have lost four of five while
the Wizards have won nine of ten, climbing into contention for one
