Good morning. Hansel Emmanuel, a high school

you to get after it this fine Tuesday.

In today's Sprint:
🏀 Baylor dominates
🏈 Bye, NY
📺 What is Jeopardy?
Trivia: Prior to Baylor, which
Texas school had won a men's college basketball national
title?
Eighteen years after taking the head job at Baylor and calling
his shot, Scott Drew led his team to a resounding win against a
formerly undefeated Gonzaga squad to claim the Bears' first men's college
basketball national title.
Within the first three minutes of the game, Gonzaga faced its
largest deficit of the NCAA Tournament and Baylor never looked back.
Baylor's Jared Butler (22 pts, 7 ast) became the first player with
20+ points and 7 assists in a title game since Carmelo Anthony in
2003.
A huge thank you to the student-athletes for making this season and
tournament happen. And shoutout to Bryan, winner of the Sprint’s first
bracket challenge.
NBA
(35-16) Brooklyn Nets 114 vs. (25-26) NY Knicks 112
Kyrie Irving (40 pts, 2 reb, 7 ast) was the heartbeat of Brooklyn’s
offense, leading the Nets to victory in the battle of New York.
(28-21) Dallas Mavericks 111 vs. (38-12) Utah Jazz 103
The Mavericks put an end to the NBA-leading Jazz’s nine game winning
streak by shooting 47% from beyond the arc, compared to Utah’s 27%.
MLB
(2-2) NY Yankees 7 vs.
(3-1) Baltimore Orioles 0
Yankees pitchers threw a shutout and Giancarlo Stanton blasted a 471-foot
grand slam to give the Orioles their first loss.
NHL
(26-8-4) Colorado Avalanche 5 vs. (23-12-2) Minnesota Wild 4
The Avalanche held off a 3-goal, 3rd period push from the Wild to
win the game and stay atop the West division.
Premier League
(52 pts) West Ham 3 vs.
(35 pts) Wolves 1
Get ready to cringe, Manchester United fans. Since joining West Ham,
Jesse Lingard has assisted or scored more Premier League goals than
any other player.
The Jets and new coach Robert Saleh are set on
taking the future of their franchise with the number 2 pick in the coming
NFL draft. Likely, that means BYU QB Zach Wilson.
The real winner? Darnold. He’s 23 years old,
getting coached by offensive genius Joe Brady (instead of Adam Gase), and
throwing the ball to Christian McCaffrey and DJ Moore. If there was ever a
perfect opportunity to resurrect a career, this is it.
Fun fact: The Jets have now traded each of their
2013-2018 1st round picks. Not great.
